Freight Calculators
CBM / Volumetric Weight
Volume in cubic meters is Length × Width × Height. Ocean freight is typically billed on a Weight/Measure (W/M) basis — the greater of the actual weight or the volumetric weight, using the convention that 1 CBM = 1,000 kg.
Air Freight Chargeable Weight
Air freight uses the IATA volumetric divisor: Volumetric weight (kg) = (Length × Width × Height in cm) ÷ 6,000. Chargeable weight is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight, rounded up to the nearest 0.5 kg.
